The programmes will focus on courses in designing, painting, sculpting and handicraft among other courses in the training programmes.
The new courses were announced by PILAC Director General Sughra Sadaf on Saturday.
She said that the move aimed at promoting arts and culture in the country.
Explaining the particulars of the courses, she said that the courses would be held three days a week.
She added that the training programmes would include designing, painting, sculpting and handicraft courses and other courses would also be introduced. Sughra added that there would be no age limit for admissions to any of the programmes.

“Punjabi culture is our identity and it should not be forgotten.
We want to promote art, with it Punjabi language and culture is also being promoted among students.
This is being done according to the vision of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, according to which Punjabi culture is being promoted in the province,” she said. She added that for this purpose, PILAC was establishing contact with public and private universities in the province.
She said that in order to promote Punjabi culture, people who had experience with Punjabi literature were needed.
She added that the programmes were aimed at promoting the indigenous culture, especially music and literature.
