No drainage system is being constructed or nalas being cleared to be prepared for the expected rainfall

KARACHI: Weather updates in Karachi have been continuously predicting rainfall in the metropolis. In fact, light showers were experienced throughout this week in most parts of the city and a heavy rainfall may follow next week. But despite these weather updates and warnings no effective plan has been devised by the incumbent government to prevent the city from going into a state of chaos, usually seen after a heavy rainfall.

No drainage system is being constructed or nalas being cleared to be prepared for the expected rainfall. What exactly is the government waiting for is becoming increasingly hard to comprehend.
