MMA fighter Uloomi's video will make you want to hit the gym
Islamabad-based cage warrior is set to take on China's Kang on August 12
KARACHI:
After taking a year-long break, Pakistani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Uloomi Karim Shaheen is back in training for his next month's Rebel FC fight with China's Kang Kang Niu.
To make sure there is no ring rust when he steps into the cage opposite Kang, the Islamabad native has been working harder than ever under his coaches Ali Sultan and Ehtisham Karim — as evident in a video produced by Team Fight Fortress.
The video shows Uloomi putting in the work interspersed with flashes of his previous fights, including his big win against India's Yadwinder Singh from last year.
Complete with energetic background score, the hype video may double as a motivational tool for those too lazy to hit the gym.
Kang's preparations for the fight have already suffered a setback as he was knocked out by compatriot Jiahao Hao last week.
And judging by how hard Uloomi is training, Kang's year could go from bad to worse when the two face off on August 12 in Shanghai, China.
