ISLAMABAD: World Health Day was observed on April 7 across the globe including Pakistan. World Health Day 2011 focused on antimicrobial resistance and its global spread. Antimicrobial resistance threatens the continued effectiveness of many medicines used today. World Health Day has been celebrated every year since 1948.
