Top military commanders review geo-strategic security environment
Forum reiterates support for efforts, which are in line with the country's national interests, says ISPR
Pakistan's geo-strategic security environment in regard to the evolving situation in the Middle East and Afghanistan was discussed in the Corps Commanders' Conference chaired by army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ on Monday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forum reiterated its support to enable national efforts, which play a constructive role in line with the country's national interests.
While progress made in the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad was discussed, dialogue on military to military engagement with the neighbouring Afghanistan to ensure better border management, and potential flood relief work also took place.
