Did Deepika Padukone have an affair with tennis star Novak Djokovic? His ex thinks so!

Could there be some merit to last year's rumours?

Now it's no breaking news that Deepika Padukone was once linked to tennis player Novak Djokovic. Remember how the internet lost it’s cool when the two were spotted having dinner together last year? Speculation was rife but considering that Deepika is still with Ranveer Singh, it didn't last too long.

Unfortunately, the topic has made its way back into headlines, thanks to Novak's ex-girlfriend Natasa Bekvalac. According to her, the sportsman wanted to have an affair with Deepika, reported Yahoo!

Apparently, Natasa suggested that Novak would be happier dating Deepika. This statement has had everyone scratching their heads. After all, WHY is the Bollywood beauty being dragged into this mess? Could their be some merit to the rumours that arose last year?



The funny part is that when  Deepika stepped out with Novak back then, foreign media refused to recognise her and called her a ‘female companion.’ And today, the same people are happily writing her name and even linking her with Novak. How ironic!

On the professional front, Deepika is busy with her much-awaited film Padmavati, directed by film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film stars her beau Ranveer and Shahid Kapoor in prominent roles as well.

Also, just a few days ago, the xXx: Return of Xander Cage star was captured by the shutterbugs enjoying a car ride with Ranveer on his birthday. Guess all is well between them...
