Today is my last day of school and my first day on @Twitter
ISLAMABAD: Malala Yousufzai is a young Pakistani woman growing up before our very eyes. Now a women’s rights advocate recognised worldwide for speaking out against inequality, she has graduated from high school this academic year. Three days ago, she tweeted, “Today is my last day of school and my first day on @Twitter.” She continued to tweet, “Each girl’s story is unique — and girls’ voices are our most powerful weapons in the fight for education and equality.” It is nice that Malala has chosen a new medium. Twitter is fast, convenient and all media outlets keep a check on its handles.
