Chinese art goes on display at PNCA

Art being practised in Dalian Jinpu area of China put up exhibit

The Chinese cultural centre, in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), organised an exhibition of the Dalian Jinpu New Area, featuring the different kinds of art being practised there.

The exhibition featured art forms such as the Jinzhou modern folk painting, ceramic handicrafts, bird-worm seal script and dough modelling.

People visiting the exhibition got to see the process of dough modelling as well.

“The exhibition very beautifully highlighted the cultural heritage of China,” said Dr Fauzia Saeed at the event.

Events such as these would further strengthen the ties between the two countries and are a sign of great future, said PNCA Director General Jamal Shah while inaugurating the event.

Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong, along with Information Ministry Deputy Secretary Nazir Ahmed, Lok Virsa Director Dr Saeed were chief guests for the event.

The exhibition will continue for the entire week at the PNCA.
