Balochistan: Province looks to promote livestock
Seven mega projects for improvement of livestock sector are also being executed
ISLAMABAD:
The Balochistan government is utilising all available resources for promotion of livestock sector in the province, provincial officials told Radio Pakistan, adding that Rs2.8 billion have been allocated in the current fiscal year for it. Seven mega projects for improvement of livestock sector are also being executed at a cost of Rs860 million. Similarly, veterinary services in 20 districts of the province would be provided at a cost of Rs108 million. The sources said that more than Rs78 million have been allocated for provision of treatment for various animal diseases and improvement of livestock health in Baluchistan.
