KARACHI:
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has been unveiled as the eighth and final player for the 'Ronaldinho and Friends' exhibition matches set to be played in Karachi and Lahore on July 8 and 9 respectively.

Per the original plan, former Chelsea captain John Terry was supposed to be the eighth superstar footballer set to visit Pakistan as part of Leisure Leagues Pakistan's (LLP) twin friendly futsal games.

But his decision to prolong his football career and sign with Championship side Aston Villa likely forced him to change his plans. LLP then swiftly moved to rope in Welsh Giggs as replacement and captain of the side opposite to Ronaldinho's.
