Per the original plan, former Chelsea captain John Terry was supposed to be the eighth superstar footballer set to visit Pakistan as part of Leisure Leagues Pakistan's (LLP) twin friendly futsal games.
But his decision to prolong his football career and sign with Championship side Aston Villa likely forced him to change his plans. LLP then swiftly moved to rope in Welsh Giggs as replacement and captain of the side opposite to Ronaldinho's.

With a whopping 34 trophies won during a 24-year footballing career, Giggs is the most decorated player in English football.
Giggs' unveiling took place in England in the presence of Pakistan cricket's beloved mascot Chaudhry Abdul Jalik aka Chacha Cricket.
LLP, a brainchild of World Group chief Mehmood Trunkwala and family, is a nationwide initiative to bring football to Pakistan and develop it at the grass-roots level.
