DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has appointed 100 moharars in all the police stations and posts of the city after they had passed a one-month refresher course at Qila Gujjar Singh.
Islamabad police hold training for cops
The moharars were trained on public dealings, information technology initiatives, police-rules, court-matters and police station cares. Dr Haider claimed that the step would create a positive difference in the thana culture and day to day dealing at police stations.
During the training, the moharars were delivered lectures by senior police officers, judges, psychologists and IT experts. The 100 moharars included 21 new recruited and 79 from already serving moharars.
Jail police: 118 recruits complete prison training
