With rumours floating around following an impressive performance in the Monaco Grand Prix, Renault team owner Gerard Lopez said that Kubica has an opportunity to have “a team built around him” providing he stays with Renault.
It has been reported that Kubica has signed an “option” with the Ferrari team with regards to next season while other reports say that he will be free to switch if Renault are placed outside the top four in the constructors’ championship by mid July.
