Hazara Province Movement: JI arranges all-party conference
Conference as part of a movement for the creation of a separate Hazara province in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
ABBOTABAD:
The Abbottabad chapter of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Wednesday organised an all-party conference (APC) as part of a movement for the creation of a separate Hazara province in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. According to a press release, several political and religious parties attended the APC in which it was decided that on April 12 a public meeting will be arranged in connection with Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Hazara. On April 12, 2010, several people were killed when police opened fire on a protest in favour of Hazara province in Abbottabad. Maulana Shafiq-ur-Rehman will preside over the meeting and all parties will use their own flags at the meeting. The fate of the Hazara province movement will be decided on April 12.
