ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s economy has been growing steadily over the past years and is poised to become a major destination for international businesses, said Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore Nasrullah Khan, while addressing a seminar “Spotlight on Pakistan” in Singapore. The Pakistan High Commission in coordination with the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) organised the seminar with the objective of attracting Singaporean investments. The high commissioner highlighted Pakistan’s strategic location, which enables it to become Asia’s premier trade, energy and transport corridor. Khan said the government’s business-friendly and forward-looking policies were focused on reducing the cost of doing business and eliminating cumbersome administrative procedures to ensure greater ease of doing business.
