Eu concessions: Exporter calls for urgent govt steps

KARACHI: Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (TMA) Chairman Syed Usman Ali has urged the government to create a strong lobby among European Union members to receive trade concessions announced by the EU.

The concession was vetoed by countries including India, Bangladesh and Paraguay.

Taking into account the deteriorating condition of the country, Ali has urged the government to take concrete steps in this regard.
