BLA activist surrenders to security forces: ISPR
Abdul Rasool was involved in terrorist activities in Pasni, Kulanch, Dashat and Mand areas of Balochistan
A Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) activist, Abdul Rasool, surrendered to security forces along with his group and ammunition on Wednesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Rasool who goes by various aliases was said to be involved in terrorist activities in Pasni, Kulanch, Dashat and Mand areas of Balochistan.
The surrender came amid an increase in writ of state enabled through effective intelligence and successful security operations. "His surrender will go a long way in improving lasting peace and stability of Pasni, Kulanch, Dashat and Mand areas of Balochistan," the military's media wing added.
Former spokesperson of TTP turns himself in
FC Balochistan is also said to have foiled another terrorist activity in Quetta aimed to target Eid celebrations.
Earlier in April, former spokesperson for the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and key commander of TTP’s breakaway faction, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA), Ehsanullah Ehsan turned himself in to the military.
