Panamagate JIT summons Maryam Nawaz on July 5

Probe body has also summoned prime minister’s sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz on July 4, 5 respectively

A six-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT), probing the Sharif family’s offshore assets in line with Supreme Court’s April 20 verdict in Panamagate case, has summoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz for questioning on July 5.

According to Express News, the summon was issued to the primer’s daughter on June 25, directing her to appear at the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad at 11am on Wednesday next week.

Meanwhile, the probe body has also summoned prime minister’s sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz on July 4 and 5, respectively. This will be Hassan’s third appearance before the probe body and Hussain’s sixth who has already shown up for five times at the federal judicial complex. Hassan first appeared before the probe team on June 2 while Hussain had first appeared before the JIT on May 28.

The six-member body, headed by FIA Additional Director General Wajid Zia, is due to present its report before the top court on July 10. PM Nawaz, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, PM’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar have also recorded their statement before the JIT.

In other words they are saying we don't have nothing more to answer as we don't have nothing on us. Guess what, the opportunity SC has given them was not used by NS, they are going down fast.

This is great moment, now hopefully their hubris is brought back to the reality, they are no royal and can not be allowed the pretentious way of acting above the law. The people of Pakistan are sovereign and all including the prime minister are in our service holding the assigned public offices. One hopes that this process has hammered some humility into their inflated sense of importance. Time for all pretend prince and princess to wake up and feel the terra firma under their two feet as long as they can still stand.

The apex court must serve justice as, it will form a base against this menace of corruption and corrupt elites that are destroying this country from inside. Corruption is linked to terrorism, poverty and many other grave problems faced our nation. May Allah keep our country safe from enemies of Pakistan.
