Cleaning operation kicks off in Lahore ahead of Eid

As many as 295,500 waste bags, 2,349 bottles of phenyl and 101,600 kilogrammes of lime have been provided in the field

LAHORE: The Albayrak Waste Management Company has started implementing its Eidul Fitr plan following the completion of its Ehtamam-e-Ramazan campaign.

Washing and sweeping operations have been started in and around Eidgahs, mosques and graveyards. Prior to the Eid, zero waste operation would be carried out to provide clean and litter-free environment to residents of the city.

As many as 295,500 waste bags, 2,349 bottles of phenyl and 101,600 kilogrammes of lime have been provided in the field. To ensure proper waste management, Albayrak team will remain on duty on Eid days.
