Admore denies contempt notice
The matter is pending adjudication
KARACHI:
Admore Gas (Private) Limited has refuted a news story titled “SHC charges Admore CEO with contempt of court”, which was published in The Express Tribune on June 15. The company says Anwer Masud Zaidi, a former director, has only filed a contempt application in court and no charge of contempt of court has been issued against Admore CEO by the Sindh High Court. It says Amir Waliuddin Chishti had resigned as CEO of Admore on March 1, 2016. At present, he is only a shareholder and director of Admore. The court order issued on May 25, the company says, has only directed the office to issue a notice to Chishti for filing comments. The matter is pending adjudication and the final decision is within the jurisdiction of the court, says Admore.
