Charter of demands: Teachers hold demonstration in Quetta

All Government Teachers Association, Balochistan holds a protest rally in Quetta.

QUETTA: All Government Teachers Association, Balochistan held a protest rally in Quetta on Tuesday, demanding that the government ensure the implementation on charter of demands given by the association.

The protesting teachers took out a procession from Fatima Jinnah Road and after marching through different parts of the city staged a demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club where they raised slogans against the government for not meeting their demands.

Addressing the demonstration, leaders Dad Jan Baloch, Rustam Khan and others alleged that education was heading towards destruction in the province as a result of political interventions in the education department.
