Two alleged muggers were arrested red-handed while trying to loot people outside Automated-Teller Machine in a busy commercial market of the capital.
The suspects, Bilal and Ibrar Shah, would stalk people heading to ATM and rob them on gunpoint once they would come out after drawing cash.
Shehzad Town police arrested two criminals involved in snatching cash from people outside ATM and recovered weapons and cash from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that a police team under supervision of SHO Shehzad Town Inspector Fiaz Ahmed Ranjha was on the lookout for the Bilal and Ibrar who would always strike near ATMs.
