Careem marks Pakistan's great triumph with cricket themed promo

However, the code was used up before the clock touched midnight

Pakistan's triumph over India in ICC Champions Trophy final last night was certainly a cause of celebration for the country.

As many jubilant fans took to the streets to celebrate, restaurants and stores also offered discounts to celebrate.

Careem was one of the companies that used the occasion well to promote its service. As Pakistan played against India, the ride-hailing app announced 30% off for the entire day using the promo code -- Pakistan.



Once Pakistan accomplished the feat, Careem announced a new promo code mirroring Pakistan's massive win.

The promo code: Fakhar let you enjoy a free ride up to Rs338 -- Pakistan's total score against India. The drawback, however, was that the code was only available to the first 1,000 users and last we checked the code was used up before the clock touched midnight.



Such were the jubilant celebrations in the country with many people celebrating on the streets till Sehri time. With Pakistan's cricket team excelling in each department, Careem also touched the right notes with its promotion.
