PM Nawaz, family reach Jeddah for Umrah
MAKKAH:
President Mamnoon Hussain said on Sunday that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed fraternal relations and all Pakistanis had a special place for Saudi Arabia in their hearts.
In a meeting with King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the custodian of the two Holy Mosques, at Safa Palace in Makkah, President Mamnoon appreciated Saudi Arabia’s generosity towards Muslims visiting Haramain Sharifain and its efforts for providing facilities to Umrah and Hajj pilgrims.

King Salman had invited the president and his delegation for an iftar reception at his palace, said a press release.
Both leaders discussed matters of mutual and bilateral interest.
Later, the president and his delegation left for Pakistan through a commercial flight. The president was seen off by Governor Jeddah, Prince Mashal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, Mayor of Jeddah Dr Hani bin Mohammad Abu Raes and other Saudi officials at the King Abdul Aziz Airport of Jeddah.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reached Jeddah along with his family members on a private visit.
On his arrival at King Abdulaziz Airport, the prime minister was received by Deputy Governor of Makkah region Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The prime minister, who flew in here on commercial flight PK 741, will perform Umrah besides paying respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace be upon Him).
