PESHAWAR: Office-bearers and party workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been told to avoid gatherings held by Reham Khan in Swat, according to a press release.

Reham Khan denies rumours of being fired from local TV channel

Party’s provincial spokesperson Shah Farman on Saturday directed district councillors, tehsil councillors and other PTI members not to participate in or extend any support to any event organised by Reham in Swat.

He said Reham was not a party member in the past nor would she be in the future. This was her personal visit and no party worker should take part in any activity when she visited the area, he added.

Farman also clarified that some antagonists were trying to mislead people against the PTI but the people were aware, and could differentiate between the right and wrong.

Reham Khan claims reporters deliberately didn't cover her talk at YDA camp

He said that antagonists were fearful of their defeat, adding that they were sure they would lose to the PTI because of the record development works undertaken by the PTI-led government.

Meanwhile, Reham visited district Swat where she held a meeting with local elders in Matta tehsil.

On Friday, Reham had visited the hunger-strike camp of young doctors in Peshawar and expressed concern over the baton-charge by police on the ‘peaceful’ protestors.
