Makeshift market: ‘Ramazan bazaars providing relief to citizens’

Fruits, vegetables, pulses and other essentials are available at subsidised rates

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani has said Ramazan bazaars were providing essential items to citizens on discounted prices and common man would benefit from it.

He expressed these views during inspections of Ramazan bazaars in different localities of the city.

The DC along with MNA Haji Akram Ansari jointly visited Ramazan bazaar Kaleem Shaheed Colony, Ghulam Muhammad Abad and Jinnah Colony to check the availability, quality and prices of essential commodities.

They inspected different stalls and interacted with the citizens who were busy in shopping. They also visited fair price shops of agriculture department where subsidised items including apples, banana, dates and pulses were being sold on discounted prices.

Fruits and vegetables were also available on wholesale rates in the bazaar.

MNA Haji Akram Ansari appreciated the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani and his team for making best arrangements in Ramzan bazaars and its regular monitoring.

He also lauded Ramazan Package of CM Punjab and said that every possible economic relief was being provided to the common man during the month of Ramazan through these makeshift bazaars.
