Microsoft’s online design lab lets you create your perfect Xbox controller

But customisation doesn’t come cheap

Everyone knows that gamers tend to be really picky, particular when it comes to their games and consoles.

Some play the same game for years while others prefer a specific console. However, there’s one thing common about all gamers, they all want to stand out.

Keeping this in mind, Microsoft has an online design lab that lets gamers customise their console controllers by designing it.

It is fairly easy to create your controller. In the beginning, you start with a conventional black controller. Once you're on the page, you have the option to change the colour of each and every part of the controller separately.

You can choose different colours for the body of the controller, back panel, triggers, d-pad and even thumbsticks.

For certain parts of the controller, you can also opt for metallic colours instead of a single, solid colour. But that would cost you extra.

Further, you can also engrave your name on the controller to make it truly different from other gamer’s devices.

You can check how your creation is coming along using 3D view. But customisation doesn’t come cheap as pricing starts from $79.99.
