Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor’s love for cricket has landed him in hot water… yet again!

Previously, the Kapoor & Sons star was shut down by Pakistanis after he mocked Pakistani cricket team about the India-Pakistan final on June 18th, even before the Indian cricket team had qualified for it.

Pakistanis take down Rishi Kapoor after ‘India will BLUE you’ tweet

Now that the Indian cricket team will officially be competing against Pakistan tomorrow, it was only expected that Rishi would return with some more mean tweets. And boy, did he!

The Bobby actor took to Twitter yesterday after India’s win against Bangladesh in the semifinals. “We don’t need to say anything more! Tradition of destroying the opposition ,as has always been the case, will continue! Blues are invincible!” he posted.

He then mocked Pakistan Cricket Board. “PCB. Cricket team bhejna please. Earlier hockey ya Kho Kho team bhejin thin. Kyon ki 18th June (Fathers Day) Baap khel raha tumhare saath lol!”

Soon after his tweet, Pakistanis were back at it, giving Rishi a piece of their mind.

And this wasn’t even it! Rishi then went a step ahead and posted,”Acha choddo yaar. Tum log jeeton aur hazaaron baar jeeto… sirf terrorism bandh kar do yaar. Mujhe haar manzoor hai. We want peace and love.”

After this insensitive tweet, Pakistani Twitterati was crazy. For one, Pakistani born v-logger Zaid Ali seemed just as disappointed as we are after the Chandni actor’s tweet. He posted, “Terrorism isn’t only from Muslims. This just shows how uneducated you are. Disappointed to see a garbage tweet like this coming from you.”

And it went on…

It is indeed disappointing to see Rishi’s take on a sport that is loved on both sides of the border. Either way, may the best team win!

Just for the people who are not aware RK is a strong supporter of India-Pakistan cricket and have come out openly multiple times in support of Pakistan crickets to be selected for IPL.In today’s India it is not easy to speak in any way in support of Pakistan, irrespective if it right or wrong, specially if you are a celebrity.Recommend

Pakistan always going back 4 decades to point out ODI record. They are not realizing that the same record is getting worse for them match after match. What would they say when the tides have completely changed. Should find new excuses to lose to India.Recommend

ppl like him can talk and can talk loud only because we have not won a game against india since back in 2014 when afridi kicked them out of the asia cup by hitting ashwin for two towering sixes ooo but we have not really played since then … 2 odis only and 2 t20s hmm so right we have lost all of them and ppl like rishi can talk… time to shut them up but do we have what it takes to do it? I think pressure on India they thought after beating Pakistan in the pool game that the pressure on them from back home to not to lose against Pakistan was over … but boy we have come back strong and hard at them … india not really tested by bangla or sa any team yet and last time they was srilanka and they melted under pressure our bowling mashaAllah is first class and our batting has just picked up top 4 score anything was a bonus now they all r among runs what a change, get indian top 4 to fail and our top 4 score runs wow we can win it inshaAllah … rashi is no body for me what matters is our ppl deprived of happiness and our trump card is RAMADANRecommend

    @Lilly:
It is India that is scared and tried its best not to play cricket with Pakistan to try to repair the damaged record it has! First they said they will not play in Sharjah with Pakistan becasue in UAE they lose ALL the time since 1986 when Miandad “blued” Sharma and Kapil Dev and hit a six on the last ball. Then they stopped playing cricket anywhere and everywhere with Pakistan and tried to convince the world to do the same but of course failed miserably.
Now the honorable thing for your Indian govt is to not play in the final and give Pakistan a walk-over otherwise your India has no integrity and no principles, and no honesty – just hypocrisy! Recommend

what can you expect from Indians? The surprising thing is that some Pakistanis are surprised that Indians harbour such hatred against Pakistan. Wake up. Once the haze of Bollywood addiction settles, you will realize that India also was, is and always will be enemy no. 1 for Pakistan: be it diplomacy, military, culturally, etc. Recommend

I am an Indian, and ask all of you, that you genuinely expected him to support Pakistan team. Let the better of two win, and they will, whatever someone may say. And in any case it is a lesson for so called white races, that none of them could qualify. Pakistan or India, who so ever it may be, but a point is proven , that cricket now belongs to Asia.Recommend

where have u been for the last 70 years??? Haven’t you read history?? In 1971 most of Bollywood openly celebrated the fall of Dhaka? Haven’t you seen what happened in 1998 when India tested its nuclear weapon and before Pakistan retaliated in response?? All the Indian sportsmen and actors rallied behind Indian govt decision to start to threaten Pakistan and then of course when Pakistan tested in response, suddenly there was talk of “aman ki asha”??
Just take a look at any online Indian newspaper and the comments everyday Indians have heaped on Pakistan and you will realize the reality:
Dunno what “love between the 2 nations” you are talking about??Recommend
