Separately, security forces recover huge quantity of arms and ammunition from FATA

The Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan killed on Monday two wanted terrorists belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the paramilitary force conducted an intelligence-based operation in Quetta. “Two wanted terrorists of the BLA were tracked who got killed in exchange of fire,” the ISPR said.

The BLA members, the military's media wing said, were involved in attacks on the armed forces, kidnapping for ransom, as well as planting improvised explosive devices in Quetta, Margate and Sangaan areas of the province.

Separately, security forces recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in FATA.


The IBO was conducted in villages of Nizkan Khel, Razin and Nazar Khel of South Waziristan agency.

The Kaskai village of Lower Dir, village Sirigal in Chitral and various areas of Dara Adam Khel were also searched.

Recoveries, the ISPR said, included SMGs, Sakila gun, missiles, 12-bore rifles, grenades, binoculars, ammunition of various calibre, including 82mm mortar, rockets of RPG7 and detonators, among others.

The raids were conducted as part of the continuing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, military's latest offensive against militants, which began in February this year.
