Here's what will happen if Nana Patekar watches Pakistani Ramazan shows
Pakistani mimic Sajid Ali's performance will have you in splits
KARACHI:
This years' Ramazan transmissions have been surprising to say the least.
From Sahir Lodhi's misconduct with a female participant on live TV to Aamir Liaquat's very awkward interview with Meera Jee on his show, one might need to ponder upon the rationale behind such shows.
In a video that recently went viral, Pakistani mimic, Sajid Ali, is mocking the craze surrounding these shows but, with a Nana Patekar twist to it.
Sahir Lodhi attracts public outrage for wrongly accusing girl of ‘insulting’ Quaid-e-Azam
In the video, Ali takes out all that we couldn't ever, one by one, keeping his Ghulam-e-Mustafa actor demeanour intact and it had us in splits!
Apart from Amir Liaquat he also targets Fahad Mustafa's famous game show, which airs after iftaar, arguing that rather than these type of shows, one should feed the poor during the holy month. Although the preachy tone towards the end takes away from the message that he was trying to give but still, his video us an excellent piece of performance art.
