April 10 rally: MQM chief appeals for support

Altaf calls upon traders, businessmen and transporters’ associations to ensure full participation in the programme.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM),chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to traders, transporters’ associations and philanthropists to cooperate with his party in connection with the April 10 “Jalsa Istehkam-e-Pakistan” rally at Lahore.

In a statement issued on Monday, the MQM chief said that the rally, which will be organised at Gaddafi Stadium for the betterment of the country, will prove to be a landmark event. Altaf called upon the traders, businessmen and transporters’ associations to ensure their full participation in the programme at Gaddafi Stadium and also extend their cooperation by providing concessions to the people in transport fares.
