In a rather horrifying incident, doctors in Hebbal, India have found a live spider in a woman's ear.

On June 9, 49-year-old Lekshmi went to the doctor complaining of excruciating pain. The 49-year-old had fallen asleep in the afternoon on her veranda but woke up to a headache, discomfort in her right ear and an inexplicable tingling sensation.

Spiders could eat every human on Earth in one year

When the discomfort turned into debilitating pain, her husband rushed her to Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal, India. At the hospital, the doctors discovered a live spider inside the 49-year-old's ear.  As the doctors were filming a video, the live spider walked out of Lekshmi's ear.

Dr Santosh Shivaswamy, the consultant ENT, told Daily Mail that it was a 'rare' sight to see a live creature crawl out of someone's ear canal. He also reiterated how there are simple procedures for removal of foreign objects inside a patient's ear, but the 'anxiety' that comes with a live creature crawling inside it makes it incredibly difficult.

"I was terrified as I could feel movement of a creature in my ear. The acute earache followed by sharp pains suffocated me. I couldn't think of anything and was petrified when the doctor confirmed presence of a spider in my ear," Lakshmi told Daily Mail.

Numerous cases have been reported in the last few years about different creatures that have crawled into the human body. National Geographic published an article called, "A horrifying list of creatures that can crawl into your body" in February 2017 in an attempt to educate the audience so that people may know the possible dangers themselves.
