ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have formed a special squad to tackle beggars in the capital. Separately, as many as 71 professional alm-seekers and their handlers were arrested and booked during the last four days. According to a police spokesperson, the crackdown was launched following directives from SSP-Operations Sajid Kiani. Vowing that those backing professional beggars would be dealt with an iron hand, Kiani has directed to shift child beggars.
