Looks like Paresh Rawal can't decide if he wants to work in Pakistan or not
The 'Hera Pheri' actor had previously expressed his desire to work in Pakistani films and dramas
Paresh Rawal is back in the news! However, not for the same reason for which he recently made headlines here in Pakistan.
The Hera Pheri actor, in an earlier interview, expressed his desire to work in Pakistani films and dramas. Paresh was quoted as saying that he would love to work in Pakistani shows and films as he thinks that Indian ones are boring.
I love Pakistani TV serials, Indian shows are boring: Paresh Rawal
His quote read, "I would love to work in Pakistani films and shows. I love all Pakistani TV serials like Humsafar, the way they act, the story, the writing, the language...it's all good. I feel our shows are boring."
But the actor now claims that he has been misquoted in his earlier statement and he did not make any such remark, reports Huffington Post India. Adding onto it, Paresh said, "I never said I want to work in Pakistani films, neither is it my wish. I want to categorically state this. I have been misquoted."
The politician-actor further added, "I just said that I liked Pakistan's TV serial Humsafar, but never said ours are boring. I only said ours are a little slow."

Paresh also spoke about how films and cricket can bridge the relationships between the India and Pakistan. "I believe that artistes and cricketers don't come and throw bombs. They are not terrorists, rather they bridge the gap between the two countries. But when the mood is not good, why rake up issues at that time? It is better to stay with your country."
While the actor said that he is okay with the ban on Pakistani artistes, he concluded, "There should be no ban on anyone or anything. Even in Hindi Medium there was a Pakistani actress but nothing happened as the mood is good in the country."
