Nokia’s 3310 was perhaps the first mobile phone for almost all of the early millennials. Hence, it will always have a special place in our hearts.

Now, the iconic phone is back from the dead with a revamped version.



While it remains a 'dumb' phone in an era of smartphones, and lacks many features, including Wi-Fi, apps and a touchscreen, 3310 can in no way replace your iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.

However, the device can be a lot of fun. Here are five reasons the revamped device is still a great phone to have:

At $65, the 3310 is a lot cheaper than high-end smartphones, and won’t put a dent in your pocket, even if you lose it.

3. Indestructible

The 'brick' phone follows the reputation of its ancestor, and features a solid plastic body, and no large display to protect, making it virtually indestructible.

4. Snake

The revamped version brings back old memories of texting with friends, and is what makes the new device worth buying.
