In this connection, a ceremony was held at a local hotel, and attended by members of ACCI, women entrepreneurs, representatives of different investment companies, mutual funds, modaraba companies, officials of CDC and representatives of SMEs from Hazara Division.
A signing ceremony was also arranged by the regional office of SMEDA Abbottabad where a MoU was signed by Asghar Abrar Naqvi, representative of PSX Islamabad region, and ACCI Vice President Sheikh Asif Hussain.
Speaking at the occasion, Naqvi said that PSX will launch a public awareness campaign and will facilitate all those SMEs who cannot promote their businesses and are unable to arrange finances for themselves.
He said that through PSX, they will be enlisted, which will provide more opportunities to small scale investors in areas that are away from the main trading markets as stock exchange can play a vital role in arranging finances.
SMEDA regional director said that after Ramazan meetings and seminars will be arranged to educate the general public and SMEs for sustainable growth of entrepreneurs.
