Head of the organising committee of DIHQA, Ibrahim Bu Melha, told reporters, "The award has honoured a long list of esteemed Islamic characters and entities over the last 21 years in appreciation to their shiny records in serving Islam, Muslims and Holy Quran worldwide." He stated the prestigious title was awarded to King Salman because of his noble positions and tremendous contributions in the service of Islam, Muslims and holy mosques.
”King Salman is one of the great leaders and historic trendsetters whom the Islamic Nation is proud of their distinguished services, fine traits and honorable stances,” he said.

Melba further added King Salman has made relentless efforts to unify Arabs and Muslims so they could confront challenges they face. He has also chaired and supervised charitable societies that relieve the needy people in Arab and Islamic countries. "King Salman’s charitable and humanitarian works are countless. He extends assistance to all countries, especially Islamic, that have been hit by disasters and catastrophes,” he added.
