ISLAMABAD:
The Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad Police has arrested a car lifter who used to sell stolen vehicles with the help of his accomplices, a police spokesman said. He said a team headed by ACLC In-Charge Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali had arrested the car thief, Farman Ali, and recovered a Suzuki Mehran car (ICT-HE-871) from his possession which had been stolen from within the remits of Saddar police station in Hassanabdal. A resident of Charsadda, Ali, the police official said had allegedly confessed to stealing cars along with two accomplices. A second police team has been constituted to arrest these suspects.
