Security forces on killed seven militants through gunship helicopter shelling in the Tirah Valley on Sunday.

According to Express 24/7 correspondent Umar Farooq, authorities confirmed the attack and informed that the operation was still underway, in which seven militants had been killed and several other had been injured.

Authorites added that this particular region hosts a number of militant hideouts which the extremists use to launch their attacks.

Tirah valley, which is considered one of the most volatile area of the Federally Administered Tribal Area (Fata) is located alongside the Afghan border.

It is the same authority which kills, counts the number of dead, identifies the dead and informs the public.
