Balochistan unrest: Two killed in bomb attack in Kohlu

Two die and two sustain injuries when a vehicle of a pro-government tribal elder Wadera Rab Nawaz Marri attacked.

QUETTA: Two persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when a vehicle of a pro-government tribal elder Wadera Rab Nawaz Marri was attacked with a remote control bomb near Kashak area of Kohlu district on Saturday.

According to Kohlu’s deputy commissioner Mir Nasurllah Rind, who is a local tribal elder, Wadera Rab Nawaz along with his family members was returning home in Bala Dakha from Kohlu city when his vehicle was attacked with a remote controlled bomb planted along the road near Kashak area.

As a result of the explosion, two persons Mohammad Din and Bahar Khan received multiple splinter wounds and died on the spot, while two security guards, Jahan Khan and Habibullah, sustained injuries. Wadera Rab Nawaz however managed to escape unhurt in the blast.
