Unidentifiable victims: Bodies found in Bugti tribal territory

QUETTA: Three more decomposed bodies were found near Mahe Nallah area of Bugti Tribal Territory on Saturday.

Local people spotted the bodies in Nelagh area near Mahe Nallah, which lies within the limits of the Bugti tribal territory, and informed officials. However, locals had buried the bodies as they were decomposed and beyond recognition.

Sources said locals had snapped the photographs of the victims before burying them. When the concerned tehsildar was contacted, he was completely unaware of the discovery of bodies.

It may be mentioned that in the past, he has remained ignorant of similar incidents. “No one had contacted the Levies Forces about the bodies and I can not say whether the bodies were found or not,” highly disturbed Tehsildar Shahnwaz said.

It may be mentioned that six bodies were found from the same area a week ago and the Baloch Republican Party (BRP) had identified few of them as their activists.
