K-Electric’s commendable customer service

Over the years, the customer service of the private company has really progressed

KARACHI: Time and again, citizens in Karachi have shown their furor against the electricity providing company in the city. As much as it is true that the untimely and long-haul power cuts are unjustifiable, under any circumstances, however, we should also give credit where it is due. And this is the improvement in the customer service of K-Electric.

Over the years, the customer service of the private company has really progressed with prompt replies and, more often than not, their quick service delivery upon request. When there is an untimely power cut, voltage fluctuation or a PMT blast, the service vans reach the affected vicinity within few hours of lodging a complaint, even during wee hours of the night. In fact, they are also quick to respond to complaints made on any of their social media platforms, especially Twitter. Let’s hope that their service provision also progresses just how their customer service has.
