Many hideouts and camps of the militants were destroyed in the operation

Four suspected militants were killed and two arrested in Balochistan’s Awaran district late Saturday evening.
Official sources said on a tip-off about the presence of militants in the remote Awaran area, security forces launched a search operation as part of Operation Raddul Fassad.
“Four miscreants belonging to a banned militant organisation were killed and two others arrested during an exchange of fire,” said a security official, adding, “This is part of Operation Raddul Fassad.”

He said many hideouts and camps of the militants were destroyed in the operation while a huge quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the militants killed and arrested in the operation.
Militants have conducted attacks against security forces and national installations in Balochistan. Recently, several labourers working on development projects in the province have been killed in a spate of killings claimed by the militants affiliated with the proscribed Baloch Liberation Army.
