RAWALPINDI:
A man died after he rammed his speeding motorbike into one of pillars of the overhead Metro Bus Track on Benazir Bhutto Road on Friday night.

Six killed in Kohistan road accident

According to Rescue 1122, they received 36-year-old Yousaf Hanif as dead at about 1200 pm near old Ojrai Camp near Faizabad. The rescuers moved the dead body to District Headquarter Hospital DHQ for post mortem.

According to the police, Yousaf was going towards Islamabad when his bike hit the piller and he died at the spot as his head got smashed against the piller. They said that the biker was seemingly in high speed that led to the fatal accident.


Road Mishap: Two brothers killed in road accident

In another incident, a truck loaded with electricity generators caught fire near Mandi Morr on IJP Road near Pirwadhai. According to available information, a truck loaded with generators caught fire owing to unknown reason. Some eight generators got gutted and the rest were saved by the firefighters.

The trucker was transporting the generators from KP to the twin cities. Akbar Khan, the driver of the truck from Bara, remained unhurt in the accident.
