With overdone eyes, boring hair bun, Deepika disappoints on Cannes Day 2

Her smoky eyes grabbed all the attention!

CANNES:
Bollywood hottie Deepika Padukone's second red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival was far from perfect. The red carpet saw her make quite the bold statement with extreme smoky eyes in a teal green that corresponded with her bottle green gown! Now, that's the correspondence we didn't need!

Deepika Padukone's ravishing looks bewitch Cannes

Seemed like the diva had walked out of a pantomime, and straight to Cannes. Her floor-kissing dress featured a thigh-high slit to add more drama to her ensemble but quite frankly, it squealed a boring and oh-so-been-there-done-that kind of vibe.

Deepika tried her best to emit sophistication and panache as she made her way to the red carpet as ambassador of global cosmetic giant L'Oreal Paris on Day 2 of the gala on Thursday, but didn't grab the attention she's normally used to.

The Brandon Maxwell gown, teamed with diamonds by De Grisogono, and Chloe Gosselin shoes were the highlight of her look but the hair? Not so much. The boring bun syndrome is what killed the bombshell's look.

Slightly more understated eyes and flowing tresses could've ignited a fashion fire that would be hard to extinguish - just saying!

The look was much different from her loose-tressed look in a jewel toned maroon gown on the opening day of the gala, where she shared the frame with names like Susan Sarandon, Julianne Moore, and Elle Fanning.

Earlier in the day at the French Riviera, Deepika spent some time gorging on a croissant, painting her nails and browsing through her wardrobe.

She was seen in a sunshine yellow figure-hugging dress and later, she even spent time with Fanning at the beach in a pink dress.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor will also make it to the Cannes red carpet later in the week as L'Oreal Paris brand ambassadors.
