KARACHI: In the space of 15 days or so, the price of petrol has been increased by a cumulative 25 per cent or so. What does the government expect ordinary people to do now? Are we all to sell our motorcycles and cars and purchase bicycles? Yes, oil prices have risen internationally but surely there should be some kind of cushion for people for whom the bulk of the household budget is spent either on food or fuel.
