Sapphire Home opens its doors to Lahore
Adnan Malik, Hasnain Lehri sizzle at the Sapphire concept store launch
After the launch of its first-ever ‘Concept Store’ at Emporium Mall, Lahore in 2016, Pakistan’s leading high-street brand Sapphire hosted an exclusive event to mark the grand opening of its latest ‘Concept Store’ accompanied by the inaugural launch of Sapphire Home at Packages Mall, Lahore on May 12, 2017.
The event was attended by the crème de la crème of the fashion and film fraternity including the Sapphire Man Adnan Malik, Amna Babar, Ali Xeeshan, Hasnain Lehri, Ammara Khan, RJ Khalid and Rabia Butt with other prominent personalities from different walks of life. The guests were entertained with tea and horsd’oeuvres as the enjoyed an intimate shopping experience with 15% flat discount on all home purchases. DJ Trixx had set the right tone for the evening with his eclectic mixes.
Sapphire Home boasts a diverse range of home products including bed linens, table linens featuring covers, runners, napkins and place mats, towels, bath sets and cushion covers with décor items to be available in the near future. A team of talented designers, with aesthetics in line with the Sapphire's innovative spirit, has made Sapphire Home the brand that will transform your interiors into warm yet trendy spaces.
On the expansion of the brand’s retail footprint, Nabeel Abdullah, Director at Sapphire, said: “We have been producing high quality bed linen for international brands for over a decade. The idea behind Sapphire Home is to bring a revolution to home textiles retail in Pakistan with its extraordinary quality, chic designs and affordable pricing.
The range includes something for everyone including kids. From basic prints, thread count and embroidery, Sapphire Home ensures the finest in its special range of cotton tencel solid bed sheets with wrinkle-free finishing -- introduced in Pakistan for the first time -- and basic and luxurious lines of towels. We have further plans of launching a home décor line to complement the textiles range in the near future.”
The creative force behind Sapphire, Khadijah Shah also shared her vision saying: “When I first began brainstorming for Sapphire Home, I knew I wanted a range that spoke to individuals. A home is such a personal project, a true labor of love and outside of the essentials, there just wasn’t enough uniqueness in the market to suit the needs or the creative idiosyncrasies of people who took their spaces seriously.
Side by side, I couldn’t ignore that we now live in a world where environmental sustainability is absolutely essential and keeping this in mind always, we have worked hard to bring you a range that supersedes, essentials that are functional but also imaginative, luxurious but also responsibly green. I am proud of what we have achieved and look forward to entering rooms that speak.”
Sapphire Home accessories are available in a price range of PKR 290 to PKR 13,990. Sapphire has established the ‘Concept Store’ in line with retail practices in place at luxury brands outlets across the globe and it will also carry its signature women's ready-to-wear silk tunics, prét wear, unstitched collections, scarves, bottoms, women’s ethnic and contemporary accessories and men’s wear collection.
With the existing 14 stores across Pakistan, Sapphire recently opened its doors to the customers of Allama Iqbal Town. The brand is a collaborative venture between the Sapphire Group and fashion designer Khadijah Shah of Élan. The award-winning high-street brand is celebrated for combining 100% pure fabric with unprecedented design aesthetic to create designer wear at an affordable price. This meld of exquisite design and high class fabric has resulted in the breakthrough of this one of a kind retail brand. Over a span of the last two years, Sapphire has extended its base from stitched and unstitched lawn and prét line to bags and accessories.
