Nabbed: Suspects involved in robbing millions held
Police said Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Chak No 393, had an argument with her daughter-in-law over a domestic dispute. The woman got enraged and hit him with bricks and stones. As a result, Manzoor suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
In two separate incidents, a young man and a girl ended their lives in the city. Police said Muhammad Shafiq of Chak No 71 committed suicide by hanging with a ceiling fan in his house. The police said the man ended his life over a domestic dispute. Similarly, Sadaf, 27, resident of Tandlianwala, consumed poisonous pills. She was shifted to hospital where she breathed her last.

Meanwhile, Chief Traffic Officer Baqa Muhammad Bugti suspended three wardens and issued show-cause notices to three others on charges of negligence and absence from duty.
