Man on death row dies of cardiac arrest in Adiala Jail
An Additional and Session Judge had sentenced the man to death on March 13, 2013
RAWALPINDI:
A 59-year old death row inmate died of a heart attack in the Adiala Jail on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Nazeer Hussain Shah from Taxila. His body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy. According to available details, Hussain had been convicted of killing a man in Taxila in 2012. An Additional and Session Judge Muhammad Iqbal had subsequently sentenced Hussain to death on March 13, 2013.

Meanwhile, a security guard deputed to provide security to a census team, accidentally fired a gun injuring an enumerator at Nawababad along the GT Road, within the limits of Wah Saddar police station.
Muhammad Akhlaq, a senior school teacher with the FG Public School in Aslam Market and currently deputed with a census team, was injured when Irfan’s gun went off. The injured school teacher was shifted to the Pakistan Ordnance Factory-Wah Hospital for medical treatment.
