Achieving distinction: 860 laptops distributed among students

He advised the students to make best use of their time and work towards prosperity of the country

MULTAN: At least 860 laptops were distributed among the students of BA and matriculation, who passed their exam with distinctive marks.

Higher Education Provincial Minister Syed Raza Ali Gilani distributed the laptops at a ceremony held at Government Post Graduate College, Khanewal on Friday. On the occasion, Raza Ali Gilani said in future, laptops distribution scheme will be extended to private universities.

He added, “It is the duty of the students to help the provincial government in its struggle to make the chief minister’s programme of ‘Parha Likha Punjab’ a success.” He advised the students to make best use of their time and work towards prosperity of the country.

Meanwhile, the minister expressed anger over late arrival of officials in the event and for not organising the ceremony according to the standard operating procedures of the Punjab government.
